 Howdy!

A big welcome to you from the Texas Brokerage Team. eXp Realty is excited to have you! We’re going to help you get up and running, and introduce you to what eXp Realty has to offer.  There is a checklist of items in this document you will be completing over the next few days.  *PRINT THIS DOCUMENT ALONG WITH THE CHECKLIST FOR QUICK REFERENCE.  This is also a live document, there are many links to things you will want to refer to. So, keep this document on your computer.

*It is important to remember that the process moves at your pace, the quicker you complete each step in the onboarding process, the quicker you are out there selling real estate.

Once you have confirmation from TREC on your sponsorship request please email TXMLS@exprealty.com and let us know which association/MLS you are with and if you are a current member or need to join. The Texas Team is here to assist you, but the attached quick reference guide should always be your first stop. You can reach out to any of us during the week while we are in the Broker Room (M-F 9:30-5:00) or by contacting your regional managing broker directly. Contact information is in this package.

eXp Texas Onboarding Steps


Complete steps 1– 5 in order in the checklist below.
   ** After Step 5, each step MUST be completed, but not necessarily in order.

New Agent Checklist:


1. Complete eXp Online Application Join eXp
2. Sign eXp Independent Contractor Agreement
3. Request Sponsorship with EXP Realty LLC (603392)
4. Change your sponsorship at your local association/MLS
Email: txmls@exprealty.com and let us know which association/MLS you are with and if you are joining or a current member. We will send you the necessary pre-filled forms. **IF YOU HAVE LISTINGS TO TRANSFER**, please email TXMLS@exprealty.com for Sheila Dunagan’s signature. ** Please ensure that you send these via digital signature utility**.
5. Explore: eXp World and Schedule your World Tour with a Cloud Concierge. Visit:  https://explore.exprealty.com/

7. Add the Following Days and Times to Your Calendar:
    Every Tuesday 9am CST - Texas State- Meeting—World Auditorium.
    Every Thursday 1:30 pm CST - Texas Contracts Class–Meeting Room 7.
    1st Tuesday of Month 9:30 am CST - Texas Orientation in the eXp World Auditorium.
    Every Friday 10 am CST - eXp National Leadership Meeting - in the eXp World Auditorium.
8. Add: tx.broker@exprealty.com to your contacts.
9. Check out our eXp Class Schedule at : www.expcloud.com.
10. Attend Weekly Texas State Meeting—Every Tuesday 9 am in the eXp World Auditorium.
11. Attend Texas Orientation - 1st Tuesday of the Month, 9:30 a.m. in the Texas Broker Room.
12. Attend Texas Contracts and Productivity Class held every Thursday at 1:30 pm in Meeting Room 7 on the eXp World Campus.
13. Get Familiar with Workplace Group: exprealty.workplace.com.
14.Search for and Join: Texas State Group.
15. Additional Workplace Groups are included in this packet.
16. Download: Workplace App and Workplace Chat App to your mobile
17. Agent Attraction: If you are going to be attracting new agents to eXp there is a document you must review the Agent Attraction Universal Pledge.
18. Download, Read, and Become Familiar with eXp Policies and Procedures Manual and Texas Policies and Procedures.
19. Gather all of your advertising links: including social media, websites, copies of business cards, signs and any other customer-facing advertising and email all for approval to tx.broker@exprealty.com.

 (*You are responsible for sending ALL advertising proofs to tx.broker@exprealty.net and marketing@exprealty.com PRIOR to first use per TREC Advertising Rules outlined in the TX Policy & Procedures).

 

 

 


 

 

Who is my Broker & How Do I Contact Them?


You have ONE Designated Managing Broker to act for EXP Realty in Texas, Sheila Dunagan.

Sheila has assigned people at TREC to help supervise Texas agents, these people are Managing Brokers. Managing Brokers are your first resource for answering contract questions in the State of Texas. They have been appointed by the broker with TREC to act as your supervisor on her behalf.

When contacting a Broker, either visit us in the Texas Broker Room,in eXp World during Broker Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30 am CST - 5:00 pm CST, and Tuesday 10:00 am CST - 5:00 pm CST or *send a Workplace Chat*(preferred). When you have a Broker question the first person you should reach out to is your Managing Broker.  Your Broker Team is available for contact during Business Hours, Monday - Friday from 8:00p.m to 6:00 p.m.

How to get a Regus Account


First, what is Regus? Regus is the world’s largest provider of flexible workplaces. Regus is where you can use an office for an hour/multiple hours/day, meeting room, print/fax services, etc. To sign-up for a Regus account, START HERE.The business lounges (common areas) and WIFI are paid for by eXp Realty and included with your eXp Realty “Enterprise Solutions” membership.

While agents are responsible for charges related to private office space, co-working areas, meeting rooms and additional services such as coffee, copies, etc... these must still be allocated to your eXp Realty “Enterprise Solutions” membership to receive eXp's contractual discount on booking fees which is 16%.

EXPRLT9462. (You must register/update profile at HudHomeStore.com).

*If you submit  a HUD bid and it’s giving an error message, be sure that your profile on the HUDhomestore.com website is updated to reflect eXp as your brokerage. If your brokerage information in your profile does not match the NAID number, you will receive an error and be unable to submit a bid.

REGUS BRANCH OFFICES:

Rules for Using a Branch Office



These Regus offices are on file with TREC as branch offices as well as on file with some of the local MLS’ boards.  No personal mail is to be sent to these offices.  If you will use this as a business address please take time to go in and meet the staff and introduce yourself. (Take them cookies or donuts) Ask them what day of the week they send the mail to Austin.  If you are expecting something delivered there and want them to hold it for you CALL THEM ahead of time and request they hold it. 

ALL MAIL sent to the Regus office is subject to being opened by EXP so we can best know how to route the mail.  Make sure your local lenders and vendors know to send your mail to the local Regus (especially around the holidays) otherwise it may be sent to the Austin address.

      We are members of many associations across Texas and each one has a different form or process to transfer listings over to a new broker. To transfer your listings please email txmls@exprealty.com and let us know which association you are with so we can send you the form with instructions.

      If you have already filled out a listing transfer and need broker signature on it please send it to txmls@exprealty.com for Sheila Dunagan’s digital signature.

Advertising Compliance


Advertising Guidance - eXp Policies and TREC Requirements:

Any advertising, including; yard signs, business cards, ads, mailers, flyers, websites, FB Business Pages, etc. must have the information listed below. In addition, we require that all incoming agents go to the homepage for the  Advertising Compliance Video/Test and view the advertising class and take the quick 20 question test. You will also find helpful docs, prefilled IABS forms and a ton of invaluable resources.

     1.)  Per TREC eXp Realty's name needs to be at least half the size of the largest font on your advertising (this includes your logo).

     2.)  Your name, or Team or Group name Brokered By eXp Realty (Or just EXP Realty works too)

3.)  ALL marketing MUST be submitted to marketing@exprealty.com for brand approval AND as sent over to TX.Broker@exprealty.com for broker approval PRIOR to FIRST use.

4.) Your Marketing Team/Group name must be registered at TREC (per 535.154(c)(3)    prior to first use. (Use the link below  to get this registered and then check back on TREC's website in a few days to see if you see it. If you do not, please follow up with the broker team at tx.broker@exprealty.com)  Link to Form: TEAM/Group Name Registration Form
5.) Any name you use to advertise yourself, other than the name on your license, must be registered with TREC before using it. Alternate Name (any name that is a nickname or        not a derivative of the name on your license such a middle name not on your license), or a Team/Group name MUST be registered with TREC before you start using it. (Section 535.154(c)(3) 5)
    You  must ensure that you have the legal right to use any marketing names. It is YOUR
 responsibility to file this information with TREC. Here is the Link: Alternate Name Form
6.) You may NOT use “brokerage, company, or associates” in your marketing name.

7.) Even if you are a team of 1, if you are using ANY marketing name besides what is on your license, then you must register as a team/group and your marketing name must end in    Team or Group.

  Upload the IABS/CPN as photos to your FB pages, and then pin the photos to the top.
